This model of packaging is in direct contact with food and must be compatible with the contents of the product, and with the help of this packaging, distribution is done easily. All kinds of envelopes, nylons and cellophanes are of this type of packaging, which can be of different materials. Some of these types are:
1) Composite envelopes:
These envelopes are made of several layers of different materials, each of which gives a special feature to the envelope. For example, composite envelopes can be composed of polyethylene, aluminum, polyester, etc. These envelopes have advantages such as resistance to heat, light, humidity, gases and pollution.
2) Vacuum envelopes:
These envelopes use vacuuming of the air inside the envelope to prevent food oxidation and color change. These envelopes are usually made of polyethylene or Polyamide.
3) Polyethylene envelopes:
These envelopes are made of polyethylene, which is a common type of plastic. These envelopes have advantages such as cheapness, lightness, weldability and flexibility. But these envelopes have disadvantages such as relatively high permeability to gases and odors, sensitivity to heat and light, and lack of resistance to oils and fats.
4) Nylons:
This type of plastic is made from Polyamide, which is a type of polymer. Nylons have advantages such as resistance to wear, hardness, flexibility, resistance to heat and light, and low permeability to gases and odors. But this type of plastic has disadvantages such as being expensive, absorbing moisture and changing dimensions, and not being able to weld.
5) Cellophanes:
This type of plastic is made from cellulose, which is a type of natural polymer. Cellophanes have advantages such as transparency, glossiness, the ability to print and laminate, resistance to oils and fats, and breathability. But this type of plastic has disadvantages such as high permeability to gases and odors, sensitivity to humidity and heat, and the need to use glue to close. All kinds of wrappers (opp, cpp), polyethylene, metallized and milk are of this type of plastic, which are used to pack different foods.
